*My name is pronounced pal-ee-cha. Palitja is from the Pitjantjatjara people, in central Australia. I was named after a baby girl who my Mum nursed in the Alice Springs hospital and I thank the local people for allowing Mum to use this name.
I write and photograph on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people and I recognise their elders, past, present, and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
‘This world is one shared place.’
