First post!

Anzac Day today and though we didn’t get up early and go to a dawn service we did remember. My daughter and I made Anzac Biscuits (with lots of spice and ground lemon myrtle leaves), and talked about how the biscuits came about. She’s becoming adept at cooking on her own now so every moment we share is a gift – as was, and is, each returned service man and woman.

We live our lives in debt to those who came before us; to those who gave their lives for our future; to those who gave their own ease, their own comfort, their own peace of mind, for ours. We can never thank you enough, but today, we try.
